This aida cloth is what I’d consider standard, so exactly what I was expecting. Out of the package the cloth is stiff enough to not require an embroidery hoop, but it softens some on washing. Perfect for sashiko.The color is, indeed, navy. So it’s just what I wanted and I am happy.You might wonder why I’m commenting that the product is exactly as described. It’s because when I was searching for aida cloth I noticed another brand where the color is described as one thing and the photo is different.Also I did not find it thin. It was as thick as all the other brands I’ve purchased.So I want to assure other potential purchasers that the product is exactly as described and you will not be disappointed. (And, no, I’m not related to them and they didn’t ask me to write a review.)
